Japan Journal   I go to Japan to contemplate my life's work within a different context. I want to situate my self within an other culture and attempt to ascertain what convergences exist between the way I think and pray and act and these modes of activity in a different human community. I do not seek to convince anyone that the journey I have embarked upon is better than that of any other, nor do I mean to suggest that I have come to conclusions even for myself.
